Good: Well-rounded stats, with an efficient support spell(heal) that can be used to heal both himself and friendly units, making him able to do some dangerous actions (meat shield, rush & attack with your army) and then retreat and heal. As his attack spells are very powerful, it's recommended to use him in low levels.
Bad: Even though he can fight, the lack of fighting support spells such as rage or shield causes him to decay at higher levels.
